Indian traditional dishes are very well known for their large number of spices used in their dishes. An average of 7 different ingredients that often give out various flavours that are diversely combined. This would allow each and every bite to reveal a different combination of flavours.
MITHAIS is an important part of the Indian Cuisine and Celebration. Another important dish that is a must to be served during the celebration is one of the sweet dishes of South India, PAYASAM. According to the South Indian tradition, a wedding is not over until it is served payasam.


People of the Indian culture usually practice an etiquette of eating with their right hand, instead of using utensils. Using the left hand to eat is not recommended as it is considered "unclean".
The Indian custom mostly practices a common gesture of pressing both their palms together with their fingertips facing upwards. Alongside the gesture, they will also greet verbally by saying "NAMASTE".
At times, you may also see the young touching the elder's feet and the elder touching the highest point of the young's head with their fingers.
The Indians believes it contains some kind of chakras at various points of our body. With the lowest on our feet and highest on our heads. Therefore when touching someone's feet, we are effectively channelling positive energy into our body.

CLOTHING
The Indian women will usually wear Saree. A Saree is commonly styled to wrap around the body and draped over a shoulder. There are a variety of styles in which a Saree can be draped. This piece of long cloth also comes in different colours and pattern.
As for the males, it is called a Sherwani. It is a long coat buttoned up to the collar and the length of Sherwanis are usually below the knees. Just like the Saree, the Sherwanis have a variety of designs which includes different colours, patterns, and styles.
